Why I started 4thirty
Writing has been part of my life forever, either for work or fun, and I’ve always found it to be enjoyable. There’s just something about documenting feelings and experiences to one day look back upon and relive that I find so powerful.
When I began being a Stay-At-Home-Mom (SAHM), I realised that I didn’t know many other SAHMs and it wasn’t because there weren’t many of us. It was almost as if SAHMs were in hiding. Over time I grew determined to build a community and to give a voice to other Mamas like me.
Here’s to taking the leap in 2021 🙂

The Wedding & Becoming a wife (2018)
H and I met in middle 2017 and six months later we were engaged. We then bought a house, planned a wedding, planned a honeymoon and moved in (in that order) all before our wedding in August 2018.
N's Arrival & Becoming a mama (2019)
N’s estimated due date was exactly on our first wedding anniversary, but she decided to come 3 weeks early at, yes you guessed it, 4:30am. August is a special month for our little family.
