I’ve been quiet and not really updating much because I’ve been working on this new site for the past, I’d say month? Web builds are not really my expertise, plus I only get a few hours a day to squeeze in time for this so it took me quite a while!
Anyhoo, I’m liking this new site because it’s much more organised and neat looking. I’ve also added in some new categories, including one for recipes so that any of you can just follow and hopefully get inspired!
I was also in a dilemma for a long time on whether or not I should post our pictures here (of our faces). I think I eventually might – because I find it contradicting that I have a personal blog where I want my readers to connect with but I’m not giving them a face to connect to in the first place – but I’ll start first with an illustration of me!
This was done by a local artist here in Singapore that I chanced upon (from one of her posts that went viral). I fell in love with her style and so I immediately reached out to her. I absolutely love it! It’s also up in my “Hello” page 🙂
Of course, this new site is still a work in progress and I’ll continue to build on it as I go. I also want to work on gathering more photos so that my posts can be accompanied by more visuals!
I’m really fuelled with excitement to put in the effort to make this work. I hope all of you enjoy reading my stuff as much as I do putting them up ♥
