Creamy Salmon Pasta

Salmon is one of my favourite proteins to serve N because it’s loaded with nutrients and so good for their little baby brains. It’s also relatively easy to handle and cook so out of the whole fish family, salmon is usually my go-to.

I’ve served her salmon by itself, in a patty, in rice balls and in pasta – all of which she has absolutely loved. It does get a bit oily and that smell does linger but nothing that deters her from gobbling them all down.

This creamy salmon pasta is a savior on days I’m not cooking rice for the whole family (read: take-out days). It’s also extremely versatile because you can add anything you want to it – carrots, tomatoes, chilli, even corn if you’d like. You can also replace the salmon with chicken breast if you want to switch it up.

Disclaimer: I don’t measure when I cook haha! So there won’t be any measurements to the recipe. I just tap into the inner Asian Aunty in me and eyeball/gut everything.

I throw the pasta and the sauce into a small Tupperware and shake so that it mixes thoroughly. Then I garnish with more parsley and pepper.

I also think it would be a nice addition to throw in some mushroom but I’m not a fan of them personally so it’ll be a while before N gets any #SorryBaby
